Barefoot no more Spring Day campaign

szoosh supports Barefoot no more.
Our “sole “ purpose is to ensure Africa’s children go barefoot no more by manufacturing shoes in South Africa.

We supply a marketing tool  in the form of the flip flops validating the donation of a very special shoe to an underprivileged child.

The flip flop is extremely well designed to appeal to an up market consumer. Everyone owns at least 1 pair of flip flops, and we aim to redirect the annual public spend towards our “flip flops for a cause”.
Each time a pair of our flip flops are worn they serve as a reminder that a child is wearing a pair of school shoes.
Thus we have a feel good product that will change the lives of children in our country on a 1 for 1 basis.

It is further a great marketing tool for Corporate companies that will be utilized instead of being tossed aside as is often the case with corporate giveaways.
The unique structure of the “flip flop as a marketing tool to create awareness around the donation of the shoe to child in need “ allows corporate companies to direct their CSI and MARKETING budgets as they see fit towards the spend.
Barefoot no more will invoice accordingly.

The shoe is made from an innovative, fully recyclable material designed specifically for school children in Africa.
It is does not require polishing, is waterproof, shock absorbent, will not cause blisters , and can stretch to accommodate a growing foot whilst remaining perfectly comfortable.

The donation of the shoes is handled by barefoot no more teams employed solely for this purpose.
·         Overflow stock is taken to each school ensuring every child receives a pair of shoes that fits them perfectly.
·         All deliveries will be done after the Spring day campaign and we encourage corporate participation.
·         Every donation  will be filmed and flighted on u- tube.
·         Proof of donation along with an NGO section 18A certificate from the schools concerned  will be delivered to each contributor.

The shoes will  be replaced on a yearly basis , at which time the old shoes will be collected.

Due to their special properties the old shoes will be fully recycled in order to manufacture new ones.

BAREFOOT NO MORE day has been conceptualized to launch barefoot no more.
For the next 2 months our task at hand is to ensure the success of SPRING DAY 2011
we challenge to Corporate South Africa to direct their Spring day budgets towards this campaign.
Our aim is to celebrate that 1 MILLION CHILDREN are barefoot no more on the 1st of September 2011!!!

Each sale will be logged on the website counting the sales towards the target of 1 MILLION shoes and validating the participation of companies and individuals that have joined our initiative to shoe Africa’s children.

The success of the 2011 Spring day campaign will allow us to do this on a yearly basis.

We plan to  recreate the same model throughout Africa within the next 2 years.
